GIS ESSAOUIRA 2019 The Crossroads of All Possibilities
After two prestigious editions held in 2016 and 2017 in Marrakech, “The Fashion Blogging Summit” is rebranding and returning with its 3rd edition focusing on innovation. This time, Essaouira, the city of trade winds, hosted the Global Influencers Summit from April 4 to 7, 2019, under the patronage of Mr. André Azoulay, Counselor to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The GLOBAL INFLUENCERS SUMMIT 2019 brought together bloggers, influencers from all corners of the world, digital professionals, businesses, media, and institutional figures, under the theme: Influencers, who are they? Understanding the new opinion leaders. The goal was to dissect and rethink influencer communication and the power of influencers – these new opinion leaders who dictate the new paradigms of digital influence.
Over three days, conferences, masterclasses, workshops, and highly informative meetings were organized with exhibitors to explore the latest developments in blogging and digital, all within a professional and pleasant setting.

Alongside this edition, WEBEUZ positioned itself as the digital partner of GIS 2019, providing consultancy and deploying effective and useful digital strategies. This included creating the website, SEO, and producing editorial and graphical content for all social networks.

GIS also saw the participation of several renowned speakers from the fields of economy, sports, art & culture, fashion, and lifestyle. Notably, our CEO MEHDI MOURABIT addressed the topic of artificial intelligence and its influence on our digital behavior.
In an intriguing speech, MEHDI MOURABIT highlighted the dangers of free mobile applications and the use of personal data for advertising purposes. With the constant expansion of the mobile app market where 9 out of 10 apps downloaded are free, consumer protection becomes an increasingly complex issue. Artificial intelligence raises multiple questions, particularly regarding the protection of personal data.
